Every returning resident completes C17. A visitor uses C17 when bringing items beyond used personal belongings. A visitor with only used personal belongings makes an oral baggage declaration under the current government page.

Government authority: Bahamas Customs Department and Ministry of Finance.

Filing service: Free; customs duties are separate.
Output: QR code for the designated Exempt customs lane.
Separate 2026 development: the Bahamas Digital Arrival Card is still a pilot for select visitors on selected flights, with paper remaining in parallel.
