Dominican Republic

Everything you need to know about the Dominican Republic E-Ticket, without paying a middleman.

The Dominican Republic E-Ticket is a free digital form required for all arrivals and departures. It replaced the paper entry and exit cards in 2021 and is accepted only at eticket.migracion.gob.do.

One E-Ticket, two uses: you fill it once for your trip, and it covers both your arrival and your departure. If plans change and you leave earlier or later than you declared, you can update it at the official site or simply refile. It is still free.

The fast facts

  • Official URL: eticket.migracion.gob.do — nothing else ends in .gob.do, and that suffix is restricted to Dominican government entities.
  • Cost: free. Always free.
  • When to file: up to 72 hours before arrival. Earlier is fine for most cases. Flight info should be final.
  • What you need: passport, flight details, accommodation, email, about 8 minutes.
  • What you get: one QR code that covers both entry and exit. Screenshot it. You show it at both borders.
  • Family groups: one adult can file for the whole family in a single E-Ticket. Each traveler is a section inside one form.
