The Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) is a free digital form required for most foreign visitors since January 2024. It is accepted only at imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/main.
What you need: passport (valid 6+ months past arrival), flight details, Malaysia address, email, about 7 minutes.
What you get: a confirmation email. You do not strictly need to show a QR on arrival; the system is checked by passport. But keeping the email is smart.
