SGAC is free and is not a visa. ICA offers its web service and the MyICA app. The web page currently links an enhanced version too: use either version, not both for the same trip.
Select Submit SGAC, then the residency category that matches your status. Ordinary foreign visitors use Foreign Visitor / In-Principle Approval Holder. Singapore residents and long-term pass holders have their own choices.
The current web interface includes 简体中文 in the language menu. The instructions still say to provide your information in English. A translated interface does not change how you should enter your travel details.
The three-day window includes your arrival day. ICA’s example: arrival on 30 June means submission from 28 June. In our 14 September check, the form offered arrival dates 14, 15 and 16 September.
Use the date you expect to enter Singapore, not the date you depart from the previous airport. See ICA’s arrival-date answer . Exemptions include airside transit without immigration clearance and residents entering through land checkpoints; consult the ICA requirements for your status.
The current Foreign Visitor form labels the box Full Name (In Passport) and prompts Given Name followed by Surname. For an illustrative passport with given names WEI MING and surname TAN, that order is WEI MING TAN.
Use your own passport’s names. Do not add a comma simply because an older guide uses surname-first formatting. If the enhanced service presents separate name boxes, follow those labels. We did not verify every enhanced-service screen.
This field concerns the journey into Singapore, rather than your nationality or where you normally live. For a connecting flight, identify the place where you board the Singapore-bound segment. For example, on London → Doha → Singapore, that segment starts in Doha. This is an explanatory itinerary example, not a quote from ICA.
Keep it separate from the arrival-date field. For an unusual routing or a dropdown option you cannot match, use ICA’s help service instead of inventing a place or flight number.
Check your passport details, contact email, dates and Singapore accommodation. For group travel, ICA supports up to ten people on the current service; the group should be travelling together on the same trip. Check the copied trip details for every traveller.
Keep the SGAC acknowledgement and D/E number. An e-Pass is a different record issued after immigration clearance; it is not the same as submitting the SGAC. ICA explains how to retrieve these records .
If an email is missing, check spam and the official retrieval/help options. Do not assume that submitting again is harmless or required after a fixed number of minutes. Use Update SGAC for changes while the record remains valid.
The cards below are practical checks, not certified government regexes. The optional local checker on the SGAC overview applies this site’s own limits and cannot submit or retrieve an ICA record.
Copy the passport number from your travel document. Check every character; do not append MRZ check digits or filler symbols.
The current Foreign Visitor form prompts Given Name followed by Surname. Follow the labels of the version you use.
The current form displays DD/MM/YYYY. Use the date picker and check the result against your passport.
The current form displays DD/MM/YYYY. Check ICA entry requirements for your passport category before travel.
Check the Singapore-bound segment on your itinerary. If the service cannot match a valid flight, use ICA help rather than inventing a code.
Use the accommodation information for this trip, where applicable. Follow the fields shown for your residency and travel category.
Use an inbox you can access and check its spelling. Keep your SGAC acknowledgement and D/E number.
The official site shows a confirmation on screen. Screenshot it — that's your backup.
Keep your SGAC acknowledgement and D/E number. Do not rely on a fixed email delivery time.
Present your travel document for immigration clearance. An SGAC submission does not guarantee entry.
Keep the acknowledgement available on your phone or as a printout for reference.
Use ICA retrieval and help options if you cannot find your acknowledgement. Do not assume a duplicate submission is needed.
